Antevenio , always attentive to innovative projects whose business model is based on the exploitation of advertising formats, echoes a novel project in which video games and the social network Twitter go hand in hand. It is Tweet Land , a gaming platform in which the action is conditioned by what Twitter users write in real time.
The novelty lies in combining reality with the world of video games, through users' tweets. The platform introduces actions into video games by recognizing keywords written in any tweet around the world, in such a way that the development of the game is unpredictable.
To finance this project, the creators signed up to Kickstarter , an Internet portal that receives collective donations for technological projects, and with which they managed to raise more than $8,000 to continue developing the project.
Tweet Land was created by six young entrepreneurs, all 26 years old, who, contrary usa phone number list to what it may seem, do not come from Silicon Valley, but from Costa Rica. With training in advertising and computing, they have created this platform with the aim of innovating in the world of video games by incorporating reality into them and making each moment of fun unique and unpredictable.
Love CityThe platform has two games developed with a retro aesthetic that will appeal to the most nostalgic. In the first of them, Route 140, the action takes place on a road. While the player drives his vehicle, a series of obstacles appear randomly, thanks to keywords from tweets such as “accident”, “meteorite”, etc.
The second game, Love City, is a showdown between love and hate, in which the player controls an “anti-cuddle” bear, who has to defend himself from citizens who want to hug him and who appear when someone tweets that they “love” something. The way to defend himself is through a gun that charges every time someone tweets that they “hate” something.
The project is still in beta version, but it has managed to ignite the fuse of Internet entrepreneurship among Central American youth.
