One of the leading companies in the IoT sector in Brazil, a Lyncas client, found in the IT professional outsourcing solution a way to optimize and accelerate its projects in search of strategic results.
Challenges
In the energy sector, tasks such as capturing information overseas chinese in worldwide data energy meters, turning networks on or off often require on-site operations.
Solution
The objective of this project was to create an IoT platform for energy distribution companies, focusing on the integration between hardware and software and the optimization of management processes.
From this point on, such equipment can be connected to a network and the platform, and thus can be managed remotely, no longer requiring travel.
Furthermore, integration and connectivity allows the automation of tasks performed periodically, such as energy consumption measurements, also contributing to the optimization of effort.
In the search to increase the efficiency and productivity of the team, the company found in the outsourcing of IT professionals from Lyncas an opportunity to increase the team and accelerate the development of the project.
The allocated professionals are integrated into the client's team and become part of the daily routine, including ceremonies, maximizing the leadership's control and autonomy in delegating initiatives.
Results
Several benefits can be seen with the platform. Cost reduction, with logistics optimization and travel to the equipment being necessary only for specific activities.
The increase in revenue, due to cost reduction, waste avoided throughout the journey and the agility in processes achieved with remote operation and task automation.
Finally, the increase in technological maturity, with the large volume of data in real time, in the cloud, and greater speed and security of information.
