With the advancement of technology and the arrival of digital transformation, consumer habits have been changing, which brings more opportunities for companies and businesses to grow.
On the other hand, it also brings more challenges and a highly complex and uncertain scenario. After all, how can you accurately quantify customer behavior and the results of the company's actions? Or how can you make important decisions based on such an unstable context?
In a competitive environment where technology reigns supreme, having a data-driven culture becomes increasingly important. When we base our decisions on data, we take a business strategy to another level, avoiding mistakes that harm the company.
For Indicium , data analysis is so fundamental that it has become a business. The company, which sells data science and analytics services to companies in a wide range of segments, uses Bitrix24 to centralize data, both for its clients and internally.
To understand how Bitrix24 has kept up with the company's growth and become an essential tool for making businesses more data-driven, our CEO Filipe Bento spoke with Matheus Dellagnelo , CEO and Co-Founder of Indicium, to learn his story.
Indicium and the importance of data
Matheus Dellagnelo is CEO and Co-Founder of Indicium, a company from Florianópolis/SC founded in 2017.
With almost 5 years of history, it started with a team of 4 people and currently australia telemarketing data has almost 100 employees on its team. Its first projects were with local businesses, in Santa Catarina.
Since then, the company has evolved, operating nationally and internationally, and its portfolio includes clients such as Burguer King , Baterias Moura and Engie . With 110 projects already executed, it works with industry, retail, logistics, real estate, education and finance markets, and continues to expand.
Indicium's main objective is to impact its clients' businesses through technology , applying data science methods and projects to develop customized acceleration and analytical maturity for these companies.
At the beginning of their journey, back in 2017, Matheus and his team had difficulty explaining exactly what their service was. This is due to the popularization of data analysis, which is something relatively new.
With the arrival of the pandemic and the urgent need for companies to make more assertive decisions, the search for professionals specialized in the data area has become increasingly greater.
With different levels of clients, classified by size, Indicium provides specialized services according to the maturity level of each business. The technologies, methods and work formats are made according to what best fits each company.
Medium and large companies, for example, need a centralized structure, as they have multiple data sources, such as CRM , ERP, IoT, website, marketing, among others, to generate information for the database.
“There are companies that have more than 20 data sources, and others more than 50. Some clients use up to 3 systems at most, while others use more. In fact, here at Indicium we use 4 systems, and Bitrix24 is one of them.”
In other words, the company’s service is completely personalized for each client.
“We already do it here in a format that centralizes the data, and it crosses between the systems we use. Each company has a profile and, depending on the maturity of the size, it will have more specific solutions. So, for example, Bitrix24 has some options that you can connect directly to Bitrix24, right? Small companies can benefit from this. Larger companies, on the other hand, will need to use API, for example. Then Bitrix24 makes it possible to search for this information and then cross-reference it with data from other systems ” Matheus, CEO and Co-Founder of Indicium
As we can see, regardless of the size of the business, everyone can use Bitrix24 as a strategic tool for data collection and analysis.
Next, we will see how the platform is used in practice by Indicium and its clients.
How Bitrix24 supported Indicium's growth
Since its creation, Indicium has been using Bitrix24 in its operations. The company started using the platform's Tasks and Projects module, as it needed a tool that could handle macro project management.
At first, when there were only 4 people, the focus of using Bitrix24 was to manage the internal team and client projects. A few months later, they also started using the platform's CRM. As the business evolved, the use of the tool evolved, going from the free plan to the Professional plan, which is still used today.
Currently, the company uses Bitrix24 as a whole, having more than 50 active Workgroups between internal and external projects, in addition to managing leads and funnels, relationships with employees and organizing and managing work. In addition, of course, to centralizing the data necessary for business scalability.
Regarding the use of Bitrix24 , Matheus points out:
“Bitrix24 is a robust tool that allows for a lot of things. It is customizable and makes it easy to use. What I recommend is that businesses use the platform according to the size of the company. Indicium, which currently has 98 employees, uses the tool differently than it did when it had 10 or 20 employees, for example. And this applies to both the complexity of use and the format. We took one step at a time, understanding the tool and evolving the operation as a whole.”
Indicium's Co-Founder also lists 3 important tips that help in using the platform:
The use of the platform will change according to the company's level of maturity;
Because it is very robust and allows customization, you need to know how to use it intelligently, using the best attributes of Bitrix24 according to each stage of the business;
Training is required , and many of the materials that Bitrix24 itself provides may not be sufficient, as each business uses it according to its strategy. Therefore, it is important to invest in training so that the team that uses the tool on a daily basis can make the most of it.
As we can see, Bitrix24 has kept pace with Indicium's growth process, as the business has matured. And, unlike other tools that are advantageous up to a point, it is possible that the evolution of use goes hand in hand with the company's progress.
