Hello! In this blog I want to tell you about a friendly and simple way of how to carry out your SWOT as an entrepreneur, so that you can analyze both the internal and external factors that are part of your entrepreneurial DNA and based on this knowledge, make more informed and strategic decisions that help elevate your business…but how do we start?

First, let's remember that SWOT is made up of Strengths, Opportunities, Weaknesses and Threats.

Strengths
So, to begin we must understand what our STRENGTHS AS ENTREPRENEURS are , which are our internal factors that, when applied correctly to our business, will allow us to achieve our goals. The basic questions to get to know ourselves better are:

What am I good at?
What are my outstanding qualities?
What are the skills or talents that I have developed at the business level that I have?
For example, if I have a way with words, this strength will allow me to better present my business to my clients and suppliers . Now, I invite you to think about what your strengths are that will help you in your business.

Opportunities
And what about our OPPORTUNITIES AS ENTREPRENEURS? These are philippines mobile numberexternal events that are beyond our control that we can take advantage of for our entrepreneurship.

I'll give you some examples: actively seeking to participate in a fair that can help you attract new clients or implementing new technologies that you already know how to use , such as e-commerce, WhatsApp, Instagram, etc.

Weaknesses
When we talk about our ENTREPRENEUR WEAKNESSES , which are also internal factors to our person, such as the lack of a certain ability or quality that can make it difficult for us to achieve our desired goals in our business.
As an example, I can mention the lack of experience in accounting matters or bad work habits , etc.

Threats
The ENTREPRENEUR SWOT also gives you the option of becoming aware of the THREATS , which are external events that are beyond your control, but when properly evaluated, can allow you to successfully overcome the challenges.

An example of a Threat could be a worldwide virus that affects how the economy moves around the world. No one expected or was prepared for a pandemic and it is clearly beyond our control, it is an external factor that we cannot control, which makes it a threat. However, if we are able to adapt, we could transform a threat into an opportunity, as did several businesses that knew how to take advantage of the impact of the pandemic.

The questions you should ask yourself to better determine the threats are:

What could affect me in the near future?
What changes can happen if I am unprepared that can harm my business?

For ease, I recommend writing your SWOT ANALYSIS FOR ENTREPRENEURS on paper and using this information, working on your short- and long-term goals. When you recognize your competitive advantages and the challenges that may affect you, you can better determine the path you should follow to lead your venture to success.
